intrepid

Yesterday I was biking by the site of the Intrepid in midtown when I noticed they were towing the dredging crane back out into the river. The aircraft carrier has been away for repairs, when they attempted to ship it out, they noticed it was quite stuck in river sediment. They have been digging out the dock ever since. There is a sign on the dock indicating how many days till it returns. Today it will be 19.
