Bushwick Solidarity March

On June 16th, 2007 transgender, bisexual, lesbian, gay people and allies marched through the streets of Bushwick in Brooklyn in a show of solidarity for the month of Pride. This is the second year that Dee Paris Perez at GLOBE has organized the march. It was moving to see the commitment of the marchers and the varied reaction of the people in this working class, immigrant neighborhood. The march ended in a community BBQ.
