First day on the set covering the back story of the marriage equality vote, an emotional interview with state senator Tom Duane.

"I Do!"

On the first day of marriage equality in the state of New York, the first six couple to marry in Manhattan emerge from the city clerks office. I'm covering the event for "In the Life." My friends John and Charles go in later in the afternoon - the mood is supremely festive and upbeat. Video to come.

On the set, or outside of the set of the shoot for the music video for the track "Unwell" as covered by J. Michael Reeds. The DP and one of the more vivacious dancers. There was no A/C in the venue and temperatures reached in the high 80s as premonition of the heat wave to come.

Jer was in town for part of the holiday weekend - we tried the lottery for 'Book or Mormon' and lost. Our consolation prize with 'Midnight in Paris' - delightful, as was the rest of the weekend.
